I’m Fig and I like to play Sims.
I’ve “played Sims” (i.e. habitually killed my Sims because I could not take care of them then hid under the desk when Grim arrived because TS1 Grim was terrifying… and because I was way too young to be playing Sims) since The Sims 1, ended up playing The Sims 2 for more than a decade, and then finally managed to tear myself away from the awesomeness that is TS2 to move to the almost equal awesomeness of The Sims 4.
I also like to write stories.
Where in TS2 I used photo albums to tell my Sims’ stories, I had to find a new method in The Sims 4. Not long after I started playing TS4 I started writing stories for it and shared them with an awesome friend I could no longer imagine playing Sims without sharing my Sims’ lives with. These are the stories I’m planning to share on here, and they will start off at the very beginning with the stories I wrote for my “first generation” of my very first TS4 Sims!
My first story is called Pariah, and it was written and played by me in 2017. This story was set before my cc days, so please do bear with my beautiful EA boys and gals.
Xaos is technically a sequel to Pariah, but I wouldn’t exactly deem it necessary to have read Pariah beforehand. Pariah basically serves as a readable backstory to some of the characters that also appear in Xaos.
I’m a bit of a mess and my mind is one big center of chaos (😅), so please excuse my being extremely disorganized and messy, which you will probably also see back in the structure of my stories. I’m also one helluva perfectionist, so I apologize in advance for the very likely possibility that my entire theme and layout will have changed every time you visit this blog.
If you’re interested in reading any of my stories, I’d be very, very grateful and flattered and any feedback and critique is absolutely appreciated!
WARNING: This blog will deal with some more sensitive themes such as death, murder, a whole load of morally questionable (or I think it’s safe to say morally repugnant) characters, and I do want to place a trigger warning for suicide at one point in Remi’s story (he comes back!). Also, given the fact that my initial writings were written through messages on the official Sims Forums, Remi’s story will MOSTLY not contain any strong language. My later stories, however, do.
Follow my Tumblr for some more silly screenshots and funny moments.
